Birthday Review

Taryn had a blast at her birthday party at World of Bounce today. A full 18 of her 21 classmates came out to share it with her. It was also a great opportunity for Sara and I to get to know some of the fellow parents better...with only 81 kids in her graduating class, it is a small, tight-knit group. They bounced for a good hour and fifteen minutes and then had snacks and cupcakes before Taryn opened gifts.

Great fun.

Taryn Update

T thanks everyone for sending cards and gifts. She is very excited for her multiple birthday parties this week. 6 is a big deal.

Taryn lost two teeth in 48 hours this past weekend. The first was unexpected and involved quite a bit of bleeding...it was a traumatic event that I missed during a trip to Nashville. Her second tooth came out in a more organized/planned fashion after I got him and was considerably less traumatic.

In other news, T's swimming and gymnastic classes are going very well. She is now diving and swimming on her own the width of the pool. Her cartwheels, balance-beam and somersaults are also improving. She loves going to both...can somebody say "Scholarship!"
